You may be looking at my channel and wondering if there is a theme here. Yes... the theme is, whatever it is I'm interested in at the moment, I'll be making videos about. I am a filmmaker and a musician and a photographer and it gets a little mixed up here. Thanks for your understanding. Enjoy

Buried - Acoustic Show at Montgomery's Zoo Weekend
Sucks that there is barely a trace of it left in 2024....
Tragic. I hope it’s been maintained
Sadly, it has not. There's another video of it here on RUclips that someone posted just last year (2023) and the maze is gone. Nature has reclaimed it.
@@KelseyDunlevy so sad. I found out recently that Tyler Goodson was shot and killed in a police standoff. He met the fate that John was trying to keep him from. Not all stories have happy endings
@@gray4675 it is so sad! I just read the news about Tyler this morning. I started listening to S-Town podcast for a second time yesterday. Also, today is the day, back in 2015, that John committed suicide. June 22, 2015. RIP to both John and Tyler.
@@KelseyDunlevy man what are the chances of that. Crazy
Oh My God, everyone's back. HOW do I see this movie????????
I could watch that for an hour. So beautiful.
Beautiful
And thank you heaps for the footage mate
It’s not a maze. It’s a labyrinth. I’m not trying to be smart nor rude. Just wanted to point out what John created and what he was up to. A labyrinth has a path to the CENTER after many dead ends. Amadeus just a confusing mess and you go in one side and come out of the other. You don’t end up at the Center. The labyrinth is a pictorial representation of our path from superficial life to God deep within ourselves after many false paths. Says a lot about John that he made one of these. John was a seeker. He didn’t get where he was seeking. That’s why he touched so many hearts
its incredible
Excellent!
Killer riffs
Is it currently setup for the 1 null?
Thanks for posting this! I just downloaded and began using the app today, and this tutorial is still relevant.
RIP John B.
He was so fortunate to have all this beautiful land. Peace be with you Mr M.
I still send this video to people. Still a great vid. Thanks again, and again.
When you love the characters from "Songs About Your Girlfriend",this movie makes you feel some real emotion.Stephen, this movie couldn't have been any better.
We can make that happen!
Are you guys still showing it at festivals or have you released the Blu-Ray yet?
Why am I just now hearing about this? I literally grew up watching Songs About Your Girlfriend. I HAVE TO SEE THIS!
Thank you to who ever subscribe to my dad he's an amazing singer I love you dad
The IRIG Guy lol
What is the dock guitar? What does it mean? Where I can buy?
RIP
Hope you've found peace John B
He drank potassium cyanide, I doubt he had much peace
@@Allyourbase1990 yeah there are more peaceful ways to go, sure, but some people find peace in pain
can you mix the songs to mp3 format from the iPhone, also I was able to plug my guitar directly into my phone and use the amps and effects that was very cool so worth getting I didn’t know my iPhone 5 could sound that good lol
Thank you!!
i think the podcast was great. and what a talent john was. waisted. the mans mental health was bad. but i know exactly where hes coming from
Sad to not be able to tell John what a beautiful property he's got there.
First off, big fan of your photography...and I learned a ton from you. So, thank you. Now, like you, I play guitar. Started at 16 and I'm 46 now. I gotta give you props for how you insert yourself right into the scene from the get-go; best way to get good fast. You're playing is noticeably improving, as well as your vocal prowress. All you need now is to throw some attitude behind licks, maybe chuck the guitar after you finish a ripping song, glare at the camera and fade-to-black...etc.
This is amazing!
Oh yeah the parting shot was great too!
Beautiful!
very nice video stephen, however i have one question. i recorded the guitar part using ampkit...too much distortion, lack tone and noisy...my question: is it possible to reamp it using ampkit as well?
Very nice!! I'm your fan, can you leave the backing tracks and tab? Please!
You've became long way. You Rock and Cheer!
Thanks for the info,really appreciated!
For the sake of science, you should do an experiment and edit out the audio of every time you say "ugh" and "umm." Currently it sounds like you are humming while talking. h-"umm"-ing.
It is going to be smooth, dammit. Re-creation.
What did you do to the voice track? Guitar a little hot in the mix? This is the well known "problem" in self-produced projects.
nice story ;)
this is awesome stephen.. is that a blue mic?
Gidget Bates Thanks Gidget! And yes ma'am it is. It took me a while before I found a mic that I really loved on my voice without having to do much EQ... and the Bluebird was the winner.
I use a blue Yeti at the station! i love Blue.. my previous blue was a snowball i named marvin
Very talented and nicely done demo
Good job! Backing tracks please !
Just. Amazing. :D You should've filmed some shots at the Rocket Center in Huntsville. lol
Excellent job, Stephen (as expected)!
